VGI Wins Thailand’s Top Corporate Brand 2021 for Highest Corporate Brand Value, Taking Home the Prestigious Award for the Fifth Time
VGI PLC, the leader of Offline-to-Online (“O2O”) solutions across multiple platforms with a corporate mission to build a sustainable business for all stakeholders, society and the environment, takes home the Top Corporate Brand 2021 Award for the fifth time for achieving the highest corporate brand value worth THB 56.5bn (as of 20 January 2022) under the media category at the ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2021 event jointly organised by the Master in Marketing and Branding Programme (MBM) under the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn Business School, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The award was presented to Mrs. Oranuch Rujirawan, Chief Sales Officer of VGI, by Prof. Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, President of Chulalongkorn University.
The accolade has been valuated under the CBS Valuation (Corporate Brand Success Valuation) tool developed by Prof. Dr. Guntalee Ruenrom and Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun of Chulalongkorn University. This tool offers a systematic mechanism to measure corporate brands in Thailand and ASEAN in monetary terms and places an emphasis on the importance of organisational development for business sustainability – measures that shall lead to greater stakeholder confidence and contribute to the future strength and sustainable growth of the national economy.
